Breath Meditation
Purpose
I learned this meditation years ago, and I find it very soothing.
Procedure
The idea of this meditation is to pick a word or phrase to repeat to yourself on the inbreath, and a second on the outbreath.
It can be any words or phrases that you find safe and calming.
- I am safe (on the inbreath). I am free (on the outbreath).
- The healing love of God (on the inbreath). Fills me (on the outbreath).
- Love (on the inbreath). Peace (on the outbreath).
