For New Members

Welcome to the Houses of Healing Resources site.

I am so glad you are involved in teaching emotional literacy programs. The needs are so great - for youth, for prison communities, for community recovery programs. Our hope is that this site will help us share resources so we can all better reach our students. You are welcome to browse, and use the materials on this site for noncommercial purposes.

If you want to participate in the forums, or add to the site, you will need to become a member of the site. To do so, you will need to create a wikidot account (wikidot is our web services provider), and then apply for membership to this particular site. If you've received an email or letter inviting you to join the site, you can use the password in the email to bypass the application for membership.

Click here to create your wikidot account and/or become a member of this site

All members can create pages, contribute to the discussion forums, and contribute to the discussions of particular pages. (click discussion link at the bottom of any page.)

The default setting on new memberships is that you will "watch" all changes to the site. This means you will receive an email every time someone edits anything on the site. To turn off the "watch" feature, go to the bottom of the page. There is a link on the bottom right that lets you turn on and off the watch feature.

When you log into the wikidot account, there is a checkbox that allows you to "bind your account to an IP address." If you check this box, the system will remember your computer, and automatically log you in so you don't have to do so every time you use the web site.

Please email me ten.knilhtrae|sretep_lorac#.ereh gnikcilc yb if I can be of help with getting started on the website, or other questions.

many blessings,
Carol Peters
